AfrikaRudi Secretariat

The Secretariat is the Principal Executive Institution of AfrikaRudi, responsible for the rehabilitation, restoration, preservation and promotion of the Afrikan cultural humanity and heritage through the AfrikaRudi Programmes. It is headed by the AfrikaRudi Chairman and is located in Cape Town, South Africa.

Lobbying through our representatives we seek to influence policy makers in an attempt to spread the Afrikan moral values across developmental programmes thereby enabling a vehicle for the change we advocate for.

Below is the structure of our organisation and the relationships between the different people, departments, and jobs at different levels within AfrikaRudi

A specialist in Organisation, Structuring and Behavioural Management, Sirimba has over 15 years of high level management experience gained while working with several multinational companies.

Over the years, he has lent his professional expertise and humanitarian support to community development entities in Southern and Eastern Afrika, like the Help for the Masai, Early Child Education and the Earth Foundation.

A Chartered member of Quality Management, he also serves as the chairman of Tanzania HydroPower Association and the Group CEO of AGP consulting Ltd.

Sirimba earned his Masters’ Degree in International Business Management from the Business School of Netherlands before pursuing his Doctorate in Finance and Accounting at Brookdell University in the USA.

Zandile Matshotyana

SECRETARY GENERAL (South Africa)

The founding Director of Afrika Rudi, and runs its head office in Cape Town. She is an entrepreneur and a Civil Engineering Technologist who has been in the construction industry for more than four
years.

In the past, Matshotyana has been involved in various developmental and charity projects aimed at empowering disadvantaged communities of Cape Town.

A candidate engineering technician registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa, she has previously worked as a Student Tutor at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Matshotyana earned her BTech in Civil Engineering (Construction Management) from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Shaban Varajab

AMBASSADOR (Kenya)

A member of the Global Unites youth movement and the founder of 42- Change Makers, an organisation that empowers at risk Kenyan youth.

He has extensive international experience in policy analysis and political change, civic innovation, community governance, project development, peace building and conflict transformation.

He has previously worked as a Youth Development Coordinator and Programmes Manager for Rural Women Peace Link in Kenya, in addition to volunteering with various community projects abroad.

Varajab graduated in 2010 with a BA Education from Moi University, Kenya specialising in Maths and Economics. In 2016, he earned his Master’s degree in International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame, on a full Scholarship from the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. He is pursuing his second Masters’ degree in Public Administration at Indiana University South Bend.
